Traffic Delays Around Pheasant Island Woodend

The temporary traffic lights at Lower Prestwood Rd, is causing significant delays to traffic in the morning rush hour, the temporary traffic lights have been erected to facilitate the installation of a new gas main by National Grid.

I have been informed by Highways that the works should be completed no later than the 10 December.

The temporary traffic lights are manually controlled from 7am to 7pm to help reduce traffic congestion at the location. I hope this information helps residents plan their journeys. My advice whilst these lights are in use is to find some alternative route so that you are not faced with any significant delay!
