Support Picking Up For Reserve!

The call to make the Essington and Wyrley canal into a nature reserve in Wednesfield North has been slowly picking support up from constituents.

Councillor Phil Bateman said " There is obviously concern about what a reservation would mean and what finance would be required to make it a succesful reserve. But what I would say to people is just have a look at this wonderful facility and see it for what it is agreat piece of green that acts as a wildlife corridor linking rural staffordshire with the urban City.
