Swedish Directors to Visit Ashmore Park Nursery

Ashmore Park Nursery School is hosting a very important international visit next month. A group of Swedish Education Directors will be with the school on the 5th & 6th November.

They are here to plot the progress the school is making in an international project that Ashmore Park Nursery are taking part in.

I am immensely proud of the school and the way that they have progressed education in what has always been a challenging part of the City.

The school was awarded an Outstanding status the last twice, that Ofsted have inspected, and only this week the LEA awarded the school an ‘outstanding’ status for the annual audit of school finances.

Its not often that you read of a small provincial Nursery School so deeply involved in innovation as Headteacher Sue Lacey and the staff of are with this 80 place Nursery.

Councillor Phil Bateman is Chair of Governors at the school.
