Councillor Urges City to Open Corn Hill!

Councillor Phil Bateman MBE said today -

I have written to Councillor Peter Bilson who is responsible for transport and re-generation in the city asking him to re-open the Corn Hill highway as soon as possible.

I have made the point that I think the loss of Corn Hill is hitting journey times and adding to fuel costs for motorists from Wednesfield, who would normally use this highway to access the Horsley Fields side of the City.”

Councillor Bateman has been concerned for a while that the road network is out of balance with the loss of Corn Hill to through traffic. He will update constituents to the responses, both through this web site and through the Councillor Phil Bateman MBE Facebook site he operates.
