Anti Crime Measures Boosted At Crem

I have continued to make enquiries relating to the Crem.
There have been 13 cases of pilfering of stuff from the graves this year. Its a sad situation as I have written before. But I want to praise the police and the management at the grounds, as they have been explaining to me what actions are being taken to apprehend and deter the people responsible for the sadness caused. I am not going into too much detail here. But these are the measures that have been put in place :

A hedge has been planted to plug a gap in the hedge near the baby garden.
A camera has been placed on Bushbury Lane overlooking the gates and the baby section.
Trees have been trimmed to provide the camera with a clear view of the area reported as most targeted.
Signs have been posted all around the cemetery explaining that there is a Police Operation in place.
All customers and visitors are being encouraged to report any thefts to us as soon as they happen so we can ask the Police to view the footage.
There is a liaising with the Police on at least a weekly basis and the Police are patrolling the Cemetery regularly in both uniform and plain clothes.

The Management have reassured that this matter has been, and is continuing to be taken very seriously. All leads are being followed to the best of the Polices ability. As well as all of the above a more advanced long term security system is being examined as part of strategic planning. Can I ask readers of this site to contact me if there is any continuing concerns that you may have. I have tried my best ob this issue. To date I am please with the partnership approach, and the anti crime measures that are now in place.
