Labour Council Earmark £1m for buy back!

Recently I have been drawing attention to the housing crisis that young people have here in Wednesfield.
Also the fact that their plight really moves me. I am therefore very pleased that the Labour Controlled City Council Cabinet has a paper before it next week that gives approval to the City to buy back former Right to Buy homes.

It’s a modest proposal to spend £1million pounds to bring back into the housing stock former Council owned homes.

I support this initiative and wished it was a little larger in monetary value. But bringing in homes to Wolverhampton’s housing stock at this time is very welcome indeed.

I will be strongly supporting this initiative when I get the chance to speak on it. In the meantime I have 20 families who I am acting for and pressing their case for better housing opportunity for them.
