BMX Track to survive?

The vegetation around the BMX track is to be strimmed and cut back.

I have been checking with City officials with regard to the state of the BMX track on Ashmore Park. Some hard thinking needs to go into this project if it is to survive.

The City has agreed to strim and cut back the vegetation that is growing around the track. But the track itself is in need of some real investment. Here is the hard fact!

It is in this way because of non-use, and that is the simple fact. Does Ashmore Park want to see it revived or should we just let it be continued to be run down? Will young people and Council tax payers tell me what they want......
