Community Hubs-Beware of the Rumour Mongers!

Just a reminder- The Development of Community Hubs proposal is out for consultation now.

The proposals are proposals. Nothing has been decided. Views are being sought from all quarters.
As the document that is being circulated states the proposal for Community Hubs are not intended to represent a reduction in service to local people. On the contrary the Council sets out ways that its possible to enhance the community services and facilities.

So my message is look at what is being offered and do not listen to the rumours that suggest here in Wednesfield North that the Ashmore Park Library will close. Because that is not the case!

Key features of the new hubs will be improved public access information, they will also provide multi agency,multi services facilities, providing for library,community centre and youth services. There is a lot of benefits to communities on offer and new investment in our facilities here is crucial to service delivery into the future.
