Making the Sovereign Aware!

I have written to Her Majesty The Queen making her aware of the tremendous work undertaken by the voluntary Groups here on Ashmore Park in making the 'Ashmore Park Together' come alive to celebrate Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee.

Madam

I thought that you would like to see and hear of the tremendous work my community here in Ashmore Park Wednesfield did to celebrate your Diamond Jubilee. The community and all the various voluntary groups came together under the banner ‘Ashmore Park Together.’

They produced a most remarkable day of entertainment and fun, as we celebrated your 60 years on the throne Ma’am.

It was a marvellous event even though the weather was cold and grey and towards the end of the day the inevitable rain fell. I know the volunteer organisers led by Ashmore Park Community Association were disappointed that their hard-work was not recognised by the local paper, as no journalists attended to record this wonderful day of activity.
.

That is why Ma’am I am writing to let you know first- hand, that your subjects here not only enjoyed putting together a celebration ‘fit for a Queen’. They enjoyed the day immensely as did the young people who were involved. Ashmore Park Nursery School held their celebrations and again sadly the local news team failed to attend that event as well.

My community here in Ashmore Park Wednesfield wish you to be aware of their support during this historic occasion. Both for you, and indeed the Country. That is why I have written direct to you to make you aware of the tremendous support you have here.

I have the honour to be, Madam, Your Majesty's humble and obedient servant.
