Sewage Leak Closes Library.

Ashmore Park Library will remain closed today and is possibly likely to remain closed until early next week.

he Library has been hit by sewage leaks most probably linked with the flooding that took place yesterday. The City Council will work hard to open the Library as soon as it can but there has been a lot of damage to public buildings in the City as the cost of the storm yesterday becomes known.

It is a storm that is being described as a ‘100 years storm’ and it will likely remain in the minds of all of us for a very long time!

I will of course ensure that information I receive about the re-opening of the Library is published as soon as it is available.
