Severn Trent Water Company Fail to Deliver Repair to Water Leak.

Tonight the owners of the house in Broad Lane North where the water leak is, have called to inform me that, Severn Trent Water has again failed to repair this long standing leak in the pavement outside of their property.
So not only is the stinking stagnant water still spewing across the pedestrian footpath. Further their front garden boundary and retaining wall has now fallen over!.

This is probable due to the soil erosion following weeks of running water. Luckily there was no injury to passing pedestrians, but the water is still an environmental health and safety hazard, and it is now causing damage to property and pavement!

Severn Trent - you have little sympathy in this part of Wednesfield at the moment!

I am contacting the City Council who I hope can force Severn Trent to deal quickly with this problem.

Also there is now the issue of the damage to the wall. What other actions will be required to the pavement sub strata to make the pedestrian walkway safe?
I will keep residents and readers of this site up to date with this issue.
