Water Leak Scheduled for Repair Tomorrow!

There has been a water leak in Wednesfield for weeks, and Severn Trent has been informed, but have not addressed the leak in the way that the public believe that they should.

The water leak in the pavement on Broad Lane North that has been causing concern, is now scheduled for attention by the cvmpany on the 21st June. I have been applying pressure on the Council for them to impress on Severn Trent that this leak is a major concern for residents and pedestrians a like. The water Severn Trent inform the Council is pure water, not sewerage,despite the faint whiff it is giving. That smell is probably due to the length of time the escaped water has been lieing on the pavement.

I am pleased that there is now a scheduled date for the repair to take place. I will monitor the situation, with a view to making sure the work is carried out.
