Former Councillor Mike Stafford Good

It was with deep regret that Wednesfield North Labour Party received the news that former Councillor Mike Stafford Good had passed away over the week end.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences go to Mike’s family and to wife Gwen.

Mike was a Councillor in Wednesfield North from 1996 until 2000. He was also the Mayors Consort in 1998-1999 when wife, Councillor Gwen Stafford Good of Wednesfield North was Mayor of this great City.

I am sure that there will be many people in our constituency as there will be in the City of Wolverhampton that will be saddened by this news. Mike was a good community Councilllor who had a passion for education and music.

He will be deeply missed.
