Update Since Election Night!

Just an update since the City Council elections on the 3rd May.

I have taken a long week-end with the family. We went to Wales for my brother in laws 60th Birthday. An extended family containing 10 adults and 4 children all under the age of 3!!

Not much talk about elections or canvassing or even results! So I had a great time unwinding and enjoying all the things you do when you are entertaining children.

However I did arrive back in time for last night’s Labour Group meeting and the Annual General Meeting of the City Council that is taking place on Wednesday.
With regards to the issues of case work for Councillors, I have as you would expect picked up a few cases. Not only as we knocked doors but since election night. I am of course progressing them.

We will be having a Wednesfield North Labour Party meeting on Friday 25th May 2012.
