Tomorrow Is Election Day for Wolverhampton City Council

Well Thursday 3rd May is Polling Day! There is no going back now…Tomorrow Wednesfield North residents will cast their votes for the politician that they want to represent them in the Wolverhampton City Council for the next four years!
Today I have been leafleting on Ashmore Park stopping and chatting with residents on Gorse Road, Southall road, and Newey Road. Tonight I have also been out canvassing with my trusty band of followers in Adey Road, Bayliss Avenue and Blackham Road.

Wolverhampton North East MP Emma Reynolds has been out there with me- sharing the doorstep conversations. Hearing what people think, listening to their views.

It has been a very good day for me all round. The results of the doorstep canvassing has been remarkable, and what my team will need to do on Thursday is to turn those Labour promises into Labour votes.

We are buoyed by our own polling returns and the incredible support people are giving me in the streets. Wednesfield North residents are warm to Labours message and they seem to be in the right sort of mood to go and vote.

So I will be keeping my fingers crossed for the weather to be fine!
