Labour Making In Roads Into Tory Vote.

Last night we spent the evening with the 'Labour doorstep team' at Coppice Farm.

It was a very good canvass and I want to thank those voters who committed both to me and Labour! Great result. This morning our team will be hard at it in another area of the Ward. We have had a very good canvass todate and I am so pleased with the results.

For the first time we have seen some evidence of the Conservatives. My colleague Councillor Rita Potter has been angered by some of the claims in their literature that we have seen. I am sanguine about the claims and I am happy to concentrate on the positive issues in what is a local election. I remain up-beat and confident about the Labour Party's chances in this Ward.,as we work hard to oust the Tory Councillor!
