Labour In Big Thrust in Wednesfield!

Been on a canvass tonight in Broad Lane North in Wednesfield, good response and not one that has dimmed my enthusiasm at all!

But it is always awkward when you are canvassing neighbours.

At the same time we are out in Broad Lane the Labour Group of Councillors are out in force in Wednesfield South. Labour has put a real 'shift' into the Village tonight, and all the while we are picking up intelligence.

Where the vote is to be found, local issues that are causing concern, like here in Broad Lane North where residents are quick to report speeding traffic. Not a new issue but once again underpinning the benefit of talking to people on their doorsteps.

Whilst finding it awkward to doorstep neighbours the fact that they all know me is encouraging. Its at least not an issue for me to have to force a recognition! Still I am pleased that we have achieved the results that we gathered tonight. Picked up some 'promises' that were not on the last canvass!
