Canal Safety Meeting

Progress is being made with regard to residents complaints about public safety on the Essington & Wyrley canal at Wednesfield.

Phil Bateman said " Following residents concerns about the use of the towpath by motorcycles and the recent use of the air ambulance service to retrieve two injured motorcyclists. I have instigated a meeting between interested bodies and groups.

Following this meeting I will advise via this web site any action that is deemed proper."
