Schools Budget Consultation Causes Concern!

Wolverhampton City Council is setting their budget and is now in consultation with its schools.
The Council informs Governors that the Conservative/ Liberal Democrat coalition led Government has cut financial supports that councils receive.

The City Council in its calling notice for this meeting, are also informing schools that they are trying to find efficencies that will bring service improvements. The size of the task is in the forecast they make which suggests that a massive projected £71m of savings will be required to be made in this next financial year.

The budget consultation has been arranged for chairs and school governors along with headteachers for 6th February at 4.30pm in the Main Hall at the Jenny Lee centre
