Waiting 13 Days to Access the Garage!

Broad Lane North complaint over the gas network excavation that is taking place.

During the evening yesterday,I received a request from a resident living in Broad Lane North re the Gas Network that is being replaced in front of their homes and in some cases on their property. The resident complained that the company carrying out the excavations had been dragging out the work.

Some residents had been waiting 13 days to access their own garage! The annoying part she said was that " workers appear to have moved off the site elsewhere."

Also in places the pedestrian footpath has been closed forcing people to walk in the road in the dark. I have contacted the City Council and asked them to investigate the safety issues that may be infringed. I will let people know when I receive a response.
