Same old suspects!

Same old suspects! same old arguments! Express and Star ran an article last night attacking bus users and bus priority measures, with the thrust of the article calling for 'bus lanes' to be scrapped.

Every City needs a balance in their transport planning.
Within Wolverhampton City Boundary's there is more highway space given to shared running than to bus priority.

So what is wrong with giving a proportion of the highway to those residents and local counciltax payer who choose to use the bus!

Aren't bus users counciltax payers, do they not deserve to have roads designed for their use? Of course they do.

Tell the thousands of bus passengers that use the Wednesfield Road bus services, that the modest help they get in keeping the bus to the timetable is to be denied!

Bus passengers choose to travel in an environmentally friendly way. For those businessmen that keep attacking local bus users, they should be very aware of the spending power bus users possess.

Keep making the bus users life difficult and you will see how a centre will decline.

Wolverhampton needs a balanced transport system, one that provides for all modes of transport. Stop being selfish!
