Wednesfield North Labour Party Increases Membership by 11%!

Since the General Election in May, Wednesfield North Labour Party has increased its membership by 11%!

Phil Bateman Secretary of Wednesfield North Labour Party said “Prior to the election we saw the membership of the Ward in deep decline. It is therefore a great pleasure for me to see our current Members renewing their Party Membership, and New Members joining our band.

It is clear that the Conservative Liberal Democrat alliance at local and national level is not popular, and there is real concern locally that the austerity measures, and the axing of the services locally by the coalition of despair, is fuelling fear that Wolverhampton will really suffer going forward through the rest of this year and into 2011.

I welcome the new Members of Wednesfield North Labour Party, who will have been inspired by our new Councillor Rita Potter who has been particularly hard working in her first couple of months of activity on the City Council.”
