Rita's Made A Steady Start As A Councillor!

Wednesfield North Labour Party is very pleased with the results of the local election held in May. Rita Potter won a seat back from the Conservatives here in Wednesfield North, and she has made a very steady start to representing people in the Ward.
The Labour Party locally is concerned that the City's ruling Tories and Liberal Democrats are preparing for a very deep cut in financial support for local services. Schools in the Ward, we are hearing, are particularly concerned about the impact a policy of cuts will have on their own budgets.

Also the effect such a programme will have on how they are able to deliver education to local pupils.

Wednesfield North Labour Party will continue to monitor and speak up on events as we hear about them.
