Meet New Labour Candidate Rita Potter

Meet Rita who says " I have a passion for fairness and a great love for the community that I live in."

I know Wednesfield well; I am not someone that is from outside our community. I have lived here in Wednesfield North all my life, attending local schools and bringing up my family at my home on Ashmore Park.

I am in every sense ‘a local’ and I am proud of that!

I am delighted to have been selected to fight this City Council election as the candidate for the Labour Party here in Wednesfield North.

I have a very strong background in the Trade Union movement. I am a UNITE member and hold various trade union positions. I am a School Governor at St Albans School.
