Meet Mia Carys Hamer, A strand by marriage of the Bateman Family

Amongst the newest members of the Bateman family are the Hamers. Bryn Hamer has married Nicola Hill. Nicola (nee Hill) is our niece, from Mary's side of the family and is the daughter of Mary's brother Frank and wife Diane.

Bryn's family are Welsh though he was born in the valley's of Smethwick!

Their daughter seen here is Mia Carys Hamer who was born on the 25th March 2009. Mia has a good pair of lungs which she uses on ocassion's. Here in England there are tribal loyalties to football teams. Mia will be hard pressed to follow the football team of her father(which is Aston Villa) as the Hill family almost to a person follow the Black & Gold of Wolverhampton Wanderer's!

There will be quite a battle for Mia's heart and mind by these two footballing factions to get her to support either Aston Villa or Wolves as she grows up. Lets see what happens over the years.
