Walkways To Be Gated?

There is a proposal to 'gate' the walkways that link Ashmore Park & coppice Farm together and which are part of the Wolverhampton Greenways scheme.

I understand these proposals are part of a 'Safer Walsall' initiative that is taking place and is being promoted by Willenhall Police.

I have also noted that there are some very strong comments being made by Wolverhampton Residents that are unhappy at the implications of this policy.

Wednesfield North Labour Party has contacted Wolverhampton City Council and we will provide information via this site for Wednesfield North residents who are interested in what is happening.

The current Conservative City Councillors for this Ward are not communicating with residents, and I am informed that tempers became heated at the Ashmore Park Police Liaison Committee brought about by this issue.
