Residents Get The Hump!

Residents living in Colman Avenue have been watching the City Council putting in 'road humps' to slow cars down.

Now you can understand the reason for these new humps. Road Safety is everything that a community wants.

But what has had residents scratching their heads is the way that this Conservative Administration is going about it. My information is the road humps have been laid and then the engineers have had to come back a second time to realign them and re profile them.

At a time when the Tories are raising their charges to pensioners and axing care homes it does seem a bit insensitive not to get the highway engineering right first time!
