Recycling Collection Is Garbage!

During the last twelve months there has been a number of elections in Wednesfield, almost all the candidates spoke of the need for a cleaner brighter Wednesfield.

But these ridiculous bags that residents are forced to place cardboard and plastics to be recycled is self defeating.

On garbage collection day, there is more litter strewn about the streets than at any time before!

Take today in Broad Lane South, one of the most desirable streets in Wednesfield was so littered that Mary had to stop her car and clear the bags from the Lane.

Other residents of Broad lane South were out doing the same.

Now the blame lies with the Conservative led Council who have adopted a system that is inferior to our requirements.

Their inaction in putting the system right over the last twelve months is evident by the increasing litter being blown around the street.

It is not as if they have not been told!

Green credentials are not so green after the bin lorry has been collecting the re-cycled garbage. The question that needs to be answered is " When is the system currently in operation to be scrapped, and better more resilient containers are to be supplied that will keep the cardboard and plastic in place until after collection?"
