Joint Meetings for Labour in Wednesfield

Last night Friday the 27th February Wednesfield North and South Labour Party's met to discuss the current economic situation.

The two Ward Party's are holding joint meetings, this was the second of the initiatives.

Phil Bateman Secretary Wednesfield North Labour Party said " We had two good speakers in Ken Purchase MP the veteran four term Parliamentarian and Neena Gill the West Midlands MEP.

The meeting was a very lively affair and members had a chance to discuss political issues that were of importance to them, with two very switched on but very different type of elected member.

One of the most important items discussed was on how the British National Party could be stopped spreading their brand of political bile.

Both Parliamentarians called on local Labour Party activists to do all in their power to persuade friends and relatives, work mates and collegues to campaign against the hatred and the divisiveness that the BNP preaches.

The joint Wednesfield Party is gearing up for the June European elections.Wednesfield Labour Party members were shocked to be informed that the British Conservatives were joining a group of right wing European exotics that count amongst their members that old Italian fascist dictator, Mussolini's grand daughter as one of their Group members!

It appears that Cameron's Tories are already lurching to the Right!
