Labour Wins Heath Town!

Long time Labour activist Mulkinder Jaspal won his seat back in Heath Town, after a dramatic By Election victory in the snow.

Mulkinder had held the Heath Town seat until May 2008, the By Election was called after the Party suffered the sad loss of Labour Councillor Les Turner.

This Labour victory places Labour as the biggest Party in Wolverhampton, and upsets the winning run that the Conservatives had been predicting on the City Council.

Control of Wolverhampton remains with the Alliance of the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats who are continuing to ram through huge cuts in public services and cutting job's.
