Huge Cost Rise In Dying In Wolverhampton!

There will not be too many people happy at the cost of laying to rest loved family members.

The latest increase in costs that the Conservative and Liberal alliance that is running the City Council are to levy on Wolverhampton is
Burial Fees which are set to rise from £1480 to £1724
....Cremation Fees are set to rise from £755 to £920
....Cremation including organist rising from £435 to £492

These rises are set to kick in on 1.12.08...

Interestingly they did not form any part of the recent By Election that took place in Wednesfield last week. I think that they probably held the report over until the elections had taken place.
