Inland Waterways Show A Success!

The Wolverhampton Inland Waterways Show seems to have been a huge success! It appears that attendances were very healthy and the organisers early press comment seems to have been very positive. I.

I think therefore that it is a shame that one of the Liberal Democrat Councillors of the ruling coalition in Wolverhampton felt it necessary to try and pour 'cold water' on all the hard work undertaken by a range of volunteers and City officials to make the event a success.

It seems a perverted way of supporting the City, especially at a time when the economy of the region is looking a little less positive than it has done previously.

But I suppose it goes without saying that this ruling coalition of Liberal Democrats and Conservatives are not keen to recognise the handwork of others in pushing Wolverhampton as a place to work, invest and develop.
