Lights Out For An Hour?

There is a real move in Cities in North America -Canada to make a difference by taking part in Earth Hour . Cities like Toronto will be turning their lights out for an hour.

Big business like the Toronto Star newspaper-will be turning their lights off for an hour!

Wouldn't it be good if Wolverhampton also turned its lights out for an hour!

In line with the aim of ensuring people understood the importance of climate change.

Other cities committed to Earth Hour so far include Chicago, Auckland, Tel Aviv, Copenhagen, Manila, Suva in Fiji, and Sydney, Australia, where the event started last year.

So come on Wolverhampton join with me and lets ensure that in turning off our lights on March 29 from 8 to 9 p.m. we are in fact doing our bit to tackle climate change.Also we plug into earth hour a global movement aimed at protecting our Planet from the ravages of climate change."
