Coppice Farm Problems

Councillor Phil Bateman said "I have had complaints about the way that the cars are speeding in Coppice Farm Way in New Invention. A resident contacted me very upset about the way that the main road onto the estate was being used, and the constant problem that they were having with youths causing difficulties for residents with poor behaviour."
He added "I had to explain that Coppice Farm Way is in Walsall and that the policing of that estate and the main access road was down to the police operations in that town.

But it is a fact that there is some anti social behaviour taking place on the estate and it does affect residents on the portion of the estate that lies within the Wolverhampton City boundary, which is in my Ward of Wednesfield North.

Indeed recently there has been some vandalism to the road signs in Redwood Way and I have asked City officials to look to replace the signs with new ones. If residents living in the Wednesfield part of the estate do have issues that they would like to discuss with me. They can contact me by email on email@philbateman.com or by telephone.

In the meantime I have advised the resident to contact Walsall North MP David Winnick who I know will be keen to involve himself in solutions to the problems. "
