John and Eliza Bateman

The Family history is really coming alive . Here I have a photograph of Eliza Bateman with youngest daughters Mercy and Charity.Eliza was Thomas' Bateman niece, daughter of his brother John.

Eliza Turner married again after John died, to an Evan Evans. They were found on the 1861 census for Wolverhampton, with two of the children, John and Eliza, still living with them and listed as step-children.

The original document inform that the birthplace of John is Codnor Park, although ancestry.com have mis-transcribed it as Cadmore Park.
