How Many Caravans On Ashmore Park?

Councillor Phil Bateman said today "How about this for a fascinating fact. At the most recent Ashmore Park Police Liaison Committee held at the Community Centre. Our local police gave a report based on the fact that there were a lot of break-ins taking place.
Now these were not your normal break-ins..this was forced entry into caravans! The police think that because there have been very little damage and little property theft from the caravans, that the person intruding into the caravans is some one looking for a place to sleep. Obviously the Local Bobbies were concerned to catch the offender because not only was this crime taking place on the estate, it was driving the crime figures up!

So the Sergeant asked his Constables to do a quick survey of the caravans parked on the estate, as they were doing their rounds. Now this is where the fascinating fact comes in...How many caravans are parked on the estate? The police thought that there would be a figure of around 15. But the statistic was much higher than that!

My advice to my constituents who own caravans and keep them parked on their property, is that you should keep a close watch on your property, it is clear that someone has a liking for caravans.I don't think that he/she is a member of the caravan club either.

How many caravans are there on Ashmore Park? The answer is a staggering 70!!!!. We must be the caravanning capital of the Midlands. Can any similar estate beat that?"
