Councillor Phil Bateman South Staffordshire Water Customer Consultative Committee Chairman said today "Results for the Year Ended 31 March 2006 have been published here are the Highlights".

• Levels of service continue at the highest levels in the UK Water Industry
• Best ever water quality performance
• Water resource position remains healthy
• Challenging and demanding targets for leakage met
• Second lowest domestic charges in England and Wales at an average of £106 per annum despite increases in charges in the year
• Second in the Industry for operating cost efficiency
