Cheeky Burglar!

West Midlands Police informed the Ashmore Park Police Liaison Committee of a burglar who had raided two homes on Ashmore Park taking advantage of the home owners who were working in their front garden with their doors open!

Councillor Phil Bateman said "The man nips along next doors property..hey ho! over the fence and into the gardeners house!

Inspector John Turley warned the residents who were present at the Police Liaison Committee that this man was an opportunist. But the message is a clear one, never leave your door open to invite this sort of thief in!

The man who is suspected of the crime is aged between 18-25 years of age about 5 foot 9 inches white slim with brown hair.

I want to appeal to the people of Wednesfield North to be on their guard against this man, any one who knows who the person is I urge to tell the police or call Crimestoppers on 0800555111."
