Wolverhampton Coeliac Group Last Official Engagement

Following last years successful inaugural annual dinner, the City of Wolverhampton will again be the venue for this event. Wolverhampton City Mayor and Mayoress Cllr and Mrs Bateman will join us for their last Civic engagement of the year.
Cllr and Mrs Bateman have supported the group during their year of office, the Waitrose coffee morning during National Coeliac Awareness Week 2005 being their first Civic engagement of their Mayoral year.

Gastroenterologist Kamran Rostami and Dietician Adele Botha will be joining us that evening.

The exciting menu looks delicious:- Starter Stuffed Tomato with Onion, Mushroom, Garlic and Basil Dressing

Main Course Fillet of Lamb on a bed of Pea Puree and Crushed Potatoes with a Mint Jus Served with Poppy Seeded Roast Carrots Sautéed Fine Beans and Shallots Honey Roasted Potatoes Vegetarian Option Goats Cheese and Chilli Risotto with Pesto

Dessert Marmalade Bread and Butter Pudding

Drinks Apple or Orange Juice served on arrival Choice of Red or White Wine with

Councillor Bateman said " This will be the last function that I have attended and I am sure that we will enjoy the evening. As you can see the menu looks superb. The Wolverhampton coeliac group under Janet Foster and her colleagues have done much to publicise the problems of coeliac sufferers. I hope that by out own continued support of the group that we have played our part in bringing the disease to the attention of others, and to point a way to an enjoyable diet if the advice being offered is taken."
