Springdale School Integrated Learning Centre

On Tuesday the 25th of April the Mayoress and I had a real nice visit to Springdale School on the Warstones Estate. It was a super afternoon and we were very impressed with the way that the children were learning.
We had the pleasure of touring the school and of opening their Integrated Learning Centre it was a really good afternoon and we enjoyed the engagement. Headteacher Cynthia Hill gave brought us up-to-date on the way that the school was changing.
Both the Mayoress and I really enjoyed seeing well behaved children working very hard in a very interesting school environment. I was questioned as Mayor in the School Hall about what I did as Mayor. The children were very interested in what I was paid? what kind of car the Mayor had? and of course the value of the civic insignia!
I answered all the questions as well as I could. I thought that the children and the school were a credit to the City of Wolverhampton.

Here you see a photograph of the Mayor and Mayoress being taught the ropes in the new Integrated Learning Centre..photo by Stewart Perkins.
