Results of the Charity Quiz Night

I want to thank all those people that took part in last nights Charity Quiz Night at the E.C.C. Sports and Social Club. Also the E.C.C. Club for allowing me to put the night on.

There were about 30 teams taking part on one of the last official fund raisers.

I can inform you that more than £500 was raised for the Mayor's General Charities Fund, and everyone appears to have had a good time. The Mayor's team didn't finish last! But it was beaten by the Mayoral Administration team....That will cause some ribald comment on Monday! More important it was a fun night!

The annual quiz night has become a firm favourite in the Mayoral Calendar and both Mary and I thought the level of interest was really great...Thanks again for your tremendous support during this really great year for us!

There was a prize for each of the top three teams, and a range of raffle prizes which were all won.
