Call For More Protection

I received with dismay an account of one of my constituents having her window broken once again on Ashmore Park.

Councillor Phil Bateman said "I have been in contact with Wednesfield Police station and I have once again urged them to take some action. It is this constant harrasment of individuals that causes them to lose faith in both the police and society. It is even worse when it is constant and the youths seem to pick out their victim to make their lives miserable.

My constituent feels that she is being victimised, and yet after years of this constant aggression......no person has to my knowledge been arrested or charged and taken through the courts.

I have requested further protection for this individual from Wednesfield Police. I felt a need to inform the rest of Wednesfield North of my actions, as I to feel the frustration, of not being able to see a citizen enjoy their retirement years, without this type of criminal action taking place."
