Highfields Science Specialist School

"One of the most enjoyable evenings that we have spent of late was at Highfields Science Specialist School at Warstones" said Councillor Phil Bateman MBE Mayor of the City of Wolverhampton.
He further added " here I officially opened a new Environmental Centre at a ceremony which took place at 6.30pm on Thursday (March 16).

Highfields School in Penn gained its Science Specialist status in 2003 and the Environmental Centre represents part of the schools on-going commitment to its partnership with other local schools and community groups. The building is an important one as the display material suggested it will do much to increase the eco and environmental awareness of students.

The building will be used by students at Highfields and its five partner schools, as well as being available to be booked by local community groups.

I was well looked after by the staff and Phillippa Cooper in particular, there was a real sense of purpose in the school and I am sure if there was a need more information could be given by contacting the school on 01902) 551101. The School presented the Mayoress with a wonderful bouquet of flowers!
