Lets Fly Cosford!

I am keen that the Citizens of the City do as much as they can to support the Cosford bid for a major national defence training contract. The scheme would see the development of more than 2,000 new jobs. £3bn worth of fresh investment into the region over the next 25 years. Plus a major opportunity for our own local aerospace, and IT and engineering industries.

This development is currently 'head to head' with St Athan in South Wales, and we need to win this development.

This is where you come in! There is no doubt when Wolverhampton puts its mind to it.... success follows. This is what happened early this year when Wulfrunians supported the City in that BBC competition that eventually put Wolverhampton as Number 1 in a competition that when broadcast suggested that BBC Breakfast viewers finally voted Wolverhampton as a hidden gem!
