Lets Fly Cosford!

I am keen that the Citizens of the City do as much as they can to support the Cosford bid for a major national defence training contract. The scheme would see the development of more than 2,000 new jobs. £3bn worth of fresh investment into the region over the next 25 years. Plus a major opportunity for our own local aerospace, and IT and engineering industries.
This development is currently 'head to head' with St Athan in South Wales, and we need to win this development.

This is where you come in! I would like citizens who support this regions bid to contact the web site www.letsfly-cosford.com/ and their MP's and let them know of the individual support you give to the Cosford proposals. There is no doubt when Wolverhampton puts its mind to it.... success follows. This is what happened early this year when Wulfrunians supported the City in that BBC competition that eventually put Wolverhampton as Number 1 in a competition that when broadcast suggested that BBC Breakfast viewers finally voted Wolverhampton as a hidden gem!

I want to harness that energy and commitment we have for our city and region to inform the Government that Cosford is the best place for this development. Join with me and lets make Cosford Fly!"
