No Whimper Here!

"There is a lot going on in the final quarter of our Mayoral Year said Councillor Phil Bateman. " I am not going to disappear with a whimper! What I am trying to do is build a number of interesting regional events that will put focus on Wolverhampton.

Canada's top diplomat is going to arrive in the City on February 17th for a visit and to speak to Industry and Commerce.

There is to be a St Patrick's Day promotion here in Wolverhampton. I am not sure how long it has been since one of these took place, but we will have an event on the 17th March.

Also lined up is events for April 23rd when the City will again celebrate St Georges Day!

I am still working on an announcement that will be quite a coupe for the City, and I will announce that in the next day or so. In the meantime we shall be accompanying executives from Wolverhampton's Mander Centre to Athens Greece, as they go about promoting Wolverhampton."
