Diary Arrangements For Mayor

Today Thursday 26th January The Mayor Councillor Phil Bateman MBE welcomes his Business Champions Group at 7.15am for an early morning meeting of the leading Industrial and Commercial companies in Wolverhampton.

This is an important meeting and some of the strategies we have been discussing with our own local 'captains of industry' will be reported on. The Mayor will take the opportunity of briefing the meeting on the forthcoming visit of the Canadian High Commissioner, His Excellency Mr Mel Cappe on February 17th 2006.


This is followed by a Photographic opportunity as transport memorabilia is handed over to the Transport Group of the Black Country Museum.

The Mayor will then depart for London as he will be at a function on Thursday evening with the Confederation of Passenger Transport, this is a private engagement in the presence of Alistair Darling MP the Secretary of State for Transport.
