Dog Racing With The Mayor!

"There is going to be a real good night at the dogs when the Mayor hits the stadium with his entourage and guests!

Councillor Phil Bateman said " There has been a fabulous response to this charity night. Not Only have we got an entourage( last figures I was given was 138 guests!)
but we will have in our party, friends of ours, family, business leaders, local politicians, and surprisingly but very welcome...other Mayor's from other local authorities!

The Mayor continued " This is a fabulous showing from organisations and individuals... So the gold will be flying when we turn up for our charity night.

The real winner of course will be the charity, so come on folks lets make this event a real record breaker as well as of course a, night to remember and enjoy.....I do hope that everyone will of course cane the bookies!"

All the money raised will go to the Mayors General Charities Fund. Sadly we can take no further guests. The evening is on the 30th March at Monmore Green Stadium, Sutherland Avenue Wolverhampton.

The first race starts at 7.15pm
The cost of the event was £25.00 per person which included admission, a three course dinner in the restaurant and a race card.
