What's New At Low Level Station

There is a lot of speculation about what is happening on the former Low level rail Station in the City. This land has been hard fought over for a number of years now. But it looks as though a valuable use for the land is about to happen. There is a proposal for 208 Apartments a hotel, a pub diner and a car showroom all planned now for this site.

The City will see a start being made on the site today. This is an important and prestigious piece of land that has been fallow for far too long. I expect that hundreds of citizens that have to pass this way to work every morning will be really pleased to see a development starting to take place.

This development coming on top of the Interchange transport project will transform the High Level rail station approach to the City, providing better public transport interchange, just shows how we are moving in development terms here in Wolverhampton.
