Louise Bateman-Chester Connection

This is a picture of Louise ( Lou) Bateman supplied by Derek Bateman of the Chester Bateman's.

Derek like me is a Labour Councillor and is currently Leader of the Labour Group on Cheshire County Council. He has supplied some information for user's of this site linking his family into the site information.

Here is some more information:William Bateman had a shop in George Street Chester. It was knocked down to build the Crosville Bus station in 1966. The School of motoring moved in in 1964/5 when his son William Thomas Bateman sold out and moved to Tarporley, Chester. Photo attached.
