The Barnsby Blog

I have been trading correspondence with Dr George Barnsby one of Wolverhampton's most respected residents concerning my attitude to a range of political issues, since becoming Mayor of the City.

Dr Barnsby opened this dialogue with an 'open letter' on his web site, entitled the Barnsby Blog.

I appear not to have impressed him with my continued support for the political party that I belong to. Dr Barnsby is entitled to his views and his comments to me will be responded to, that is only right.

The great thing about Britain is the ability to indulge in the freedom of speech. Whilst I am somewhat restricted by the role of Mayor to fully express myself, I would just like to publicly say that a range of my views are aired on this site regularly.
